In Memoriam: Lennart Svensson

It is with deep sadness that the International Society of Information Fusion (ISIF) acknowledges the recent passing of Lennart Svensson (Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden).

Lennart was a towering figure in our community, known not only for his rigorous contributions to Bayesian estimation and target tracking—including five FUSION Best Paper Awards—but also for his kindness and dedication as a colleague. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
