Camilla Mohrdieck started her industrial career in 2007 at Airbus Defence and Space in Ulm, where she holds the position of senior expert for multi-source integration and works on new data fusion and tracking technologies for advanced, integrated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. She graduated in physics and mathematics from the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel and received her PhD degree in theoretical solid-state physics at the University of Stuttgart. Subsequently, she spent more than ten years at the Max-Planck Institute for Metals Research (now Max-Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems) in Stuttgart doing research on topics in materials science and bio-physics. This period also involved research activities at the University of Michigan, the MIT and the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).
